Writing for Myself

We eat a lot of soup. It’s cheap, nutritious, and fun to make. Although it is cold and flu season, the kids and I have stayed pretty healthy. I think it’s a combination of higher vitamin D levels (Colorado is very sunny, Maine is not) and our lame social life. We don’t hang out indoors with people that much, typically socializing at parks or hikes; and we are outside a lot more here than we were in New England. Plus the kids are getting older so we don’t have all the close contact germs happening. I actually don’t think I’ve been sick  at all since we moved here, and it’s been almost two years.

But my husband works in an office and travels a lot, so he gets sick more than we do. He’s been feeling under the weather the last couple of days, but he is extremely busy at…
