On the eve of 66th Republic Day, American President Mr. Barack Obama along with his wife Michelle had visited India. Gantantra Diwas 26th January 2015 was a very special day for both countries. The American President was invited as a Chief Guest in India. Addressing an audience at Siri fort, Mr. Obama started his speech by saying Namaste!


Mr. Obama spoke on various aspects such as climate change, Indian farmers technology, terrorism, high-tech, high-wage jobs of future. He even added, that young people like have to speak up. He mentioned that if countries wanted to develop effectively, they must educate and empower their daughters as much as their sons. He expressed his desire to have  more American students come to India than Indian students studying  in America.
